چکیده

Consumers demand for functional foods and nutraceutical is increasing owing to their health endorsing properties. Natural bioactive compounds are getting attention due promoting potential. In addition, the extraction of these a significant industrial technological perspectives. These moieties can be extracted via various conventional modern methods. For instance; solid-phase extraction, micro-extraction, liquid-liquid considered as traditional/conventional contrast, eco-innovative methods such ultrasound-assisted (UAE), microwave-assisted (MAE), pulsed electric field (PEF), supercritical fluid (SFE), instant controlled pressure drop (DIC), etc. more economical environment friendly. Additionally, ever-increasing demands energy-efficient recovery valuable compounds. Moreover, produced less wastewater hazardous substances. Conclusively, this review highlighted technologies role in achieving goal sustainable food system.
